🤯😲 DIY Stream Deck! Control Your Stream Much Easier for Less Than £50! Works With OBS and Any Other Streaming App That Supports Hotkeys.

I present a guide to building a much more affordable alternative to the Stream Deck. I am an occasional streamer and the more I did it the more I realised there's scope for improvement and efficiency during each stream.
After looking into various hotkey configurations involving various third party macro apps I decided I wanted something that's plug and play and can be made from components that are easy to obtain. I had lots of spare 24mm arcade buttons laying around and while I originally wanted to build a custom enclosure out of wood, I couldn't be bothered with all the extra effort so I just got a sloped project box that more than suited my needs.

🥁🎼 Audio Spectrum Display ASD_V1.0 – ESP32 + 399 WS2812B

You can find several audio spectrum displays / analyzers in the Internet which made LEDs dance to the beat of music. This project was inspired by one of them. It differs quite a bit from well know PLATINUMs - it has fully open source.

If you don't know what it actually do first check YouTube Showcase on Pyrograf channel, then continue reading.

🔥🕹 Simple Wood Arcade Stick

I’ve been into playing retro games lately and thought it would be cool to build an arcade stick (also called a “fight stick”) for use with RetroPie. I had some leftover IKEA oak butcher block from a kitchen project and figured it would be a great material to use for this. I love the look and the feel of it and at 1 1/8-inch thick, it’s super sturdy and solid. Also, it’s easy to treat with mineral oil to make it look nice.

100 LED Oscilloscope

This is my next build using LED matrix's. You may have seen my last one - 81 LED Chaser, well this project uses 100 LED's and is an oscilloscope!

Admittedly, the resolution isn't great for checking measurements (it is only 100 pixels!). However, it is fantastic at visualizing audio waveforms via a mic.

There are 4 IC's that make up the project. First there are the 4017 decade counter and a LM3914 LED driver which control the LED's. Next is a 555 timer for clock input and lastly a 386 op amp to increase the signal.

🤩🔥 Infinity Mirror Dodecahedron

The infinity mirror features 510 individually addressable LEDs built in a dodecahedron shape. One way mirrors on the faces of the dodecahedron bounce the light from these LEDs around within the shape, creating an infinite space illusion within its walls. The lights can be coded with patterns of your choosing, such as flying comets, infinite stars, fireworks, colour pulses and many more.

Starting an UNKNOWN brushless torque motor

In this video we will work on a torque brushless motor. However, there is no datasheet for the motor as we got the motor for cheap on the Internet. A search for a datasheet did not bring up any useful references. Lets use a @Servosila Brushless Motor Controller to analyze the motor’s characteristics and then start the motor.

Servosila SC-25 Brushless Motor Controllers are miniature robotic control units that provide high-precision control over a wide range of mechanisms actuated by brushless electric motors of any manufacturer, - including all “no name” motors. Up to 25A of phase-to-phase current, and up to 20bits of angular precision are provided.

Servo Wordclock V2

3 years ago we finished building a word clock controlled by 114 servos. In this variation of the popular clock, letters are projected from the back onto a screen. Each letter is connected to a linear actuator that can be moved back and forth by a servo so that the projection changes size and focus onto the screen. Since we got a lot of positive feedback for our clock we started to work on an improved version. Version 1 of the clock looked great but the building process was very tedious and would make it almost impossible for other people to recreate. In this project, we did a complete redesign of the clock with the goal to make it more reliable and greatly ease the assembly process.

Servosila Harmonic Speed Reducers for Robotics and CNC machines

In this tutorial we will look at basic components of a high-precision servo drive based on a @Servosila harmonic speed reducer. Such a servo drive might be used in a robotic arm manipulator or a CNC machine. Servosila Harmonic Speed Reducers are created for those applications where space is at premium while lowest possible weight and minimal backlash are the key design drivers.

Audio Spectrum Visualizer IN-13, 7 Band.

This project was a long journey. I developed, tested and choose each part carefully. One step at the time, the whole project have forward slowly. But at the end. Wow it's an amazing product. Very proud of it. Lets begin.

Using Raspberry PI to control a pair of brushless motors (PMSM, BLDC, or Direct Drive)

This DIY tutorial demonstrates how to control a pair of brushless motors using a Raspberry PI computer and @servosila brushless motor controllers. The entire setup is powered by a single battery just like in an autonomous vehicle design. The first motor is an outrunner type, a kind of what you would use for a vehicle propulsion. The bigger motor comes with a quadrature encoder which means it can be used as a powerful servo.

Perpetual Calendar With Google Calendar Connection

This project is an improved version of the calendar that author made more than a year ago, it still works very well and has become a common object in living room. If you’re a little more conservative, don't always have the phone in your hand and like that, you can see a monthly calendar in front of you and notice at a glance what date is today or next week on what date the weekend starts and very important, when the payday will be :)

Raspberry Pi Retro Arcade Machine

This tutorial will teach you how to install RetroPie on a Raspberry Pi. Before we get started, let’s provide definitions for a few technical terms you will see throughout the Instructable.

Raspberry Pi : is a credit card-sized, ARM-based, single-board nano computer designed by professors in the Department of Computer Science

RetroPie: Software that builds upon various projects to enable you to play your favorite arcade, home-console, and classic PC games with very little set-up.

Emulator: Software that enables a computer system to behave like another. In our case, enabling a Raspberry Pi to behave like several different video game consoles.

ROMs: Digital versions of game cartridges.

Neowave - RGB WiFi Moodlamp

In this tutorial you will show you how to assemble this RGB lamp! The lamp is mostly 3D printed, and is easy to repeat by yourself. It uses an array of WS2812B individual addressable RGB LEDs, which gives it the ability to not only show every color, but also in different effects, like simulating a fire. All of this can be controlled via the app, WLED.

Arm-Bot: 3D Printed 4-DOF Robotic Arm

Arm-Bot is a handy and portable 4DOF robotic arm that can be used for fun and educational purposes (basics of Forward Kinematics and Reverse Kinematics as well as 4-bar linkages joints).
The design is such that the joint 2 and joint 3 are made as 4-bar linkage mechanism joints whereas the joint 1 and joint 4 are simple rotatory joints. It is a Spherical configuration robot.
