Mushroom off-season 🤔

Today there were very few mushrooms in the forest: just a little bit of chanterelle and a little bit of Lat. Gyroporus cyanescens (the season of this mushroom is already ending, it grows in August)

I want to say that the off-season has begun, but this year I don’t even understand when the off-season is and when mushrooms don’t grow, because it’s hot and there’s no rain 😅
How many times have we already thought that the off-season has begun and there won’t be any mushrooms for at least 2-3 weeks, but then it rains during the week and the mushrooms start growing again 🤭

Today we collected 206 grams of Lat. Gyroporus cyanescens and 46 grams of chanterelle, a total of 252 grams of mushrooms.

We walked 16,662 steps, 11.8 km.

Today we had a good time in the forest: during the week I saw information that honey mushrooms were starting to be found in Belarus, the first wave began and we went to our honey mushroom spot deep in the forest.

We hadn't been in that part of the forest since spring, so it was interesting to walk there and see what mushrooms were growing there.

At first we didn't find any honey mushrooms, but already at the exit from that part of the forest, I found the first few honey mushrooms this year 😍

In total, we collected 1020 grams of mushrooms, including 429 grams of Lat. Gyroporus cyanescens, 394 grams of chanterelles, the rest were various tubular mushrooms.

We walked 19859 steps, 13.8 km.
