Android Department Teambuilding

As summer was winding down, our Android team decided to make the most of it. At the end of August, they headed to the Minsk Sea for a fun evening. The team enjoyed paddleboarding with beautiful views of the water, the sunset, and hot air balloons.

Afterward, they gathered at the "Leto" cafe in the sailing center. Good company, great conversations, and tasty food made it a perfect way to end the week!

Our colleague Alexander Sysoev, Frontend Developer, embarked on an exciting journey through Greece. Here are a few tips from him for those planning to visit this country:

"First of all, decide whether you want to spend time on the mainland or the islands – the experience in these places is vastly different.

Don’t miss the chance to explore Greek cuisine – it’s truly diverse and unique. To find the best spots, don’t hesitate to ask the locals for recommendations. They’ll be happy to suggest their favorite places.

I recommend planning a two-week trip – this will give you enough time to relax and explore the surroundings.

And, of course, don’t forget to bring a good snorkeling mask. The crystal-clear water and the rich underwater will fascinate you. Exploring the underwater world is one of the most thrilling activities Greece has to offer."

PM/BA Department Teambuilding

Summer is coming to an end, but our teambuilding events are still going strong!

Last Friday, the PM/BA team visited a ropes course park for a teambuilding event. While most members tackled the park's toughest courses, a few prepared a barbecue and waited for the others to return. There was also archery and rock climbing to enjoy. After the activities, everyone gathered in a cozy place, shared a meal, discussed work and life, and ended the day with some guitar-accompanied singing. It was a day filled with fun and memorable moments.

SoftTeco Travel: South Korea

Our colleagues love to travel the world, exploring new cities and countries. Nikolai Sakovich, Frontend Developer, embarked on his first-ever trip to Asia, choosing South Korea as his destination.

We share photos from the trip!

Business Development Department Teambuilding

Summer is the perfect time for teambuilding activities! This time, our colleagues decided to gather at the "AST Club" karaoke lounge. The team showcased their talents by performing songs from a wide range of genres, spanning from classic hits of the '90s to the latest trending tracks.

Everyone had a fantastic time, filled with laughter, fun, and meaningful conversations with colleagues.

DevOps Department Teambuilding

Last week our DevOps team went to the adrenaline-pumping teambuilding event!

Colleagues competed in a karting race, where they showcased not only their driving skills but also their team spirit. It was an unforgettable race full of close calls, fast turns and lots of laughs. After several thrilling laps, they had the top three winners: Georgij Mikulich, Mikhail Klimko, Ivan Andreev. But the fun didn't stop at the finish line!

After that, the guys went to the local bar for an afterparty. The evening was filled with laughter, good vibes, and great conversations. It was the perfect opportunity for everyone to unwind, share stories, and get to know each other better.

Teambuilding of SoftTeco Vitebsk

Summer is in full swing, and so are our teambuildings! Last Saturday, our colleagues from the Vitebsk office went to the "Beliye Rosy" recreation center for a fun day out.

At the center, everyone talked with each other, enjoyed a barbecue, and smoked hookah together. The bravest among them even swam in the lake despite the cool weather. In the evening, they played board games, which helped everyone relax and get to know each other better.

It was a great day full of relaxation and team bonding.

Teambuilding of Colleagues from Argentina

Our colleagues are spread across the globe, but that’s no reason not to meet up from time to time! Recently, our team members Pavel Aliseiko and Murat Useinov had the pleasure of meeting in Buenos Aires.

Pavel shared some details about the gathering:
"Murat and I recently met in Buenos Aires. We walked around the city, enjoyed the beauty of Paseo El Rosedal Garden, had a delicious lunch, and continued our conversation in a cozy bar. The meeting was filled with warmth and camaraderie, which not only allowed us to get to know each other better but also strengthened our team spirit."

Seeing colleagues in person, especially in such a vibrant setting, is always a wonderful experience. It adds a personal touch to our professional relationships and reinforces the bonds that make our team so strong.

10 years with SoftTeco: Alex Zubel

Join us as we celebrate a decade of dedication and success with Alex Zubel, SoftTeco's Chief Marketing Officer.  In our interview we asked Alex: In your opinion, is modern marketing significantly different from marketing 10 years ago?

“I don't think it will shock most colleagues, but after 10 years, our field hasn't changed much in terms of marketing and digitalization. We still catch potential clients on LinkedIn, send marketing materials in PDF format via email, and strive to rank high in Google search results.

Talking about a paradigm shift caused by generative AI seems premature to me. Today, the impact of this technology reminds me more of the integration of spell-checkers in Microsoft Office.

Perhaps in the modern history of our profession, marketers have worked hard to associate our activities with innovation and creativity. In reality, marketing is about the efficient utilization of resources, which will only change in response to market demands.

What has greatly influenced our work is the way processes have matured and developed at SoftTeco and how our team has grown. We have become much faster and more precise in handling more complex requests. We now have a team of business analysts and project managers whose professionalism has significantly transformed the level of services we provide.”

Velo Adventure with the SoftTeco Team

On a hot summer Saturday, our colleagues from Minsk gathered in the city center to embark on an exciting bicycle adventure.

The team split into two groups, each crafting their own unique route to the Tsna Reservoir. While one team arrived at the destination faster, everyone was rewarded with gifts for their effort.

At the meeting point, a delightful barbecue, refreshing drinks, and fun activities awaited them. They enjoyed a delicious meal together, played board games, and then headed home to continue savoring their weekend.

A big thank you to everyone who participated! It was an incredible experience!

SoftTeco's Summer Parties 2024: Belarus

Today, we're excited to share the highlights of SoftTeco's most spectacular summer corporate event with the slogan "Fair Wind" and a marine theme. This time, we're focusing on our Belarusian office!

The team gathered at two locations in Minsk before heading to a picturesque spot 15 km outside the city. Upon arrival, each participant received a branded wristband with a randomly assigned team number from 1 to 16.

The day kicked off with a diverse lunch, and after a brief rest, colleagues jumped into the team-building activities. These consisted of eight stations, culminating in a final challenge for the entire team.

Post team-building, everyone enjoyed informal mingling, hookah, a sauna, swimming in the lake, sup boarding, and simply relaxing. At one point, a sudden downpour and wind almost disrupted the event, but everyone found shelter and gathered for dinner at the main spot.

The evening included an official part with colleague recognitions, a costume contest, and a performance by the cover band Codebusters, made up of our colleagues.

The event was a great success, and we thank everyone who joined this wonderful gathering!

SoftTeco’s summer celebrations continued with an unforgettable event at the Polish office.

The team arrived at the venue to a delightful lunch awaiting them. They then split into teams and engaged in team-building activities, showcasing their wit, agility, and precision. The team-building culminated in constructing a raft and launching it into the water, allowing everyone to demonstrate their design talents and problem-solving skills.

Following the team-building, a delicious dinner awaited everyone, followed by an evening program filled with competitions. Participants answered camp-themed questions, guessed songs from childhood discos, and danced energetically to familiar tracks. The event concluded with dancing and cozy campfire chats.

The event, themed around a summer camp experience, was a great success, fostering teamwork and creating lasting memories in a vibrant atmosphere.

SoftTeco’s Summer Parties 2024: Lithuania

The Lithuanian office of SoftTeco recently hosted an exciting corporate event!

The team gathered at a countryside estate, eagerly anticipating a sunny day with a forecast of +32°C. Everyone was prepared with sunscreen and hats, but as the departure time neared, the weather took a sudden turn for the worse. Rain began to fall, and after waiting it out at the hotel, they set off. Along the way, the heavy rain caused the car to slip on the now muddy forest road.

Upon arriving at the river, the sky was overcast, making it feel like late evening even though it was still daytime. After waiting out the storm in a gazebo, the colleagues embarked on a 15 km kayak trip along a stunning river and lakes. Six kayaks set out, making several stops to swim, chat, and help each other over obstacles.

When they returned to the hotel, a delicious dinner awaited them. After dinner, colleagues headed to the lake, set up a table, and enjoyed SUP paddling, a sauna, and night swimming. The next morning, the team had breakfast and went for a walk in the forest, picking chanterelles along the way. They climbed a very tall observation tower, had a picnic by the lake, and swam.

The event was a great success, and the team appreciated the chance to spend time together in such a beautiful setting.

The team stayed at a cozy hotel, where they enjoyed an infinity pool, spa treatments, games, and a delightful dinner on the restaurant terrace with stunning views of the lake and mountains. They also strolled through the town and visited the lakeshore, soaking in the beautiful scenery.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event!
