ISTQB Certification of Maryia Hryshchenko

Maryia Hryshchenko, QA Engineer SoftTeco Poland, has obtained the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certificate!

This certificate is part of an international qualification system for software testers, standardizing the approaches to testing. Having an ISTQB certification increases a professional's value, as the certificate is recognized in most countries around the world and highly valued by clients.

Maryia said:
“Preparing for the exam took about three weeks. I bought a course on Udemy with theory and 1000 questions similar to what will be on the exam. I also downloaded the ISTQB app and practiced answering the questions there.

Despite the technical problems that started during the exam, I passed the exam with 82.5% and got my certificate.

ISTQB CTFL is not just a certificate and exam for me, it is an important milestone – I wanted to prove to myself that I have enough knowledge and skills in manual testing to go further. And next is automation and learning programming languages :)”

We congratulate Maryia and wish her career success!

Andrey Chernikovich: 5 Years with SoftTeco

Andrey joined our company 5 years ago. During this time, he has transitioned from being an Android developer to specializing in React Native and is currently a Team Manager. In his free time, Andrey enjoys playing computer games, with Dota2 and World of Warcraft being among his favorites. Recently, he has also taken up snowboarding.

We asked our hero about the current trends in React Native:

"In my opinion, the focus is on improving performance through Turbo Modules and hybrid updates, actively incorporating TypeScript to enhance code reliability. Although I personally dislike TypeScript because, in my view, it diminishes the power of JavaScript by enforcing typing and increasing focus on UI/UX design through the use of new libraries and tools. Overall, React Native is becoming a more powerful and convenient tool for mobile application development."

SoftTeco Team congratulates Andrey on his work anniversary with the company!
